Job DescriptionConstance Halaveli is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Pool & Beach Host to join our hospitality team in the Maldives. In this customer-focused role, you will be the friendly face of our resort's pool and beach areas, creating memorable experiences for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of service and safety. You will be responsible for welcoming guests, providing exceptional assistance, and ensuring that every visitor enjoys a comfortable and enjoyable stay at our luxury resort.
•Greet and welcome guests arriving at the pool and beach areas with genuine warmth and professionalism
•Provide comprehensive information about resort facilities, activities, dining options, and services available to guests
•Monitor pool and beach areas to ensure guest safety, comfort, and adherence to resort policies
•Assist guests with requests, concerns, and special needs in a timely and empathetic manner
•Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper setup of pool and beach facilities throughout the day
•Coordinate with housekeeping, food and beverage, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
•Promote resort amenities, water activities, and services to enhance guest engagement and satisfaction
•Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach
•Perform opening and closing procedures for pool and beach areas as assigned
•Maintain awareness of weather conditions and communicate any safety concerns to management
Qualifications•Proven customer service experience in a hospitality or resort setting
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage guests from diverse backgrounds
•Strong physical fitness and stamina to work in a tropical climate and perform standing duties throughout shifts
•Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
•Ability to work collaboratively with team members and support colleagues in a fast-paced environment
•Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns with patience and professionalism
•Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
•Multilingual abilities (preferred)
•First aid and CPR certification (preferred)
•Water safety knowledge or lifeguard training (preferred)
•Previous experience in luxury hospitality or upscale resort environments (preferred)
