Job Summary:

As a Food & Beverage Bartender, you will be at the heart of the bar experience, greeting guests with warmth and crafting exceptional cocktails with precision. Your deep product knowledge and commitment to superior service will elevate every guest interaction, reflecting our dedication to excellence.



Job Duties & Functions:

1. Greet guests warmly and serve food and beverages promptly.

2. Craft cocktails and pour drinks following standard recipes and portion specifications.

3. Accurately input orders into the POS system and fulfill drink orders for servers.

4. Monitor guest behavior and notify management of any concerns (e.g., intoxication or disturbances).

5. Maintain bar cleanliness: fill/clean ice bins, change kegs, empty trash, and sanitize equipment.

6. Attend all required training sessions and consistently follow Forbes/AAA service standards.

7. Consistently stay updated with the latest food and beverage trends, spirits and wine knowledge to deliver exceptional guest dining experiences.

8. Restock supplies including beer, wine, and mixers; unpack deliveries and organize inventory.

9. Follow uniform and grooming standards; maintain open communication with the team.

10. Support team and assist in areas outside the bar as needed.

11. Performs other duties and attends meetings, as assigned by hotel/department leadership.



Education & Experience:

1. Minimum 1 year of cocktail bartending and front-of-house experience in a luxury, full-service or upscale dining environment.

2. Strong understanding of Forbes Travel Guide, AAA Five Diamond, LQA or equivalent service standards.

3. Deep knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and mixology techniques. Certifications are a plus.

4. Strong guest service, presentation, and communication skills.

5. Experience with cash/credit card handling, tip-outs, and accurate billing.

6. Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certification (as applicable).

7. Ability to read, write and converse in English. Additional languages are a plus.

8. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.



Note: The standard expected work week is 42.5 hours, but actual schedules depend on business needs.



Caymanians, Permanent Residents, and RERC holders are preferred.
