Gus O’Connor’s Pub is a lively and well-known pub and restaurant located in the heart of Doolin, Co. Clare. We are currently looking to recruit both full time and part time, permanent and seasonal Bar and Waiting Staff to join our busy and friendly team.
This position involves working across both bar service and floor service, ensuring customers receive a welcoming and enjoyable experience. The role includes a mix of day and evening shifts, including mid-week and weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
•Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service
•Serve food and beverages to a high standard
•Deliver excellent hospitality through positive interaction with customers and colleagues
•Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in service areas
•Work as part of a team to ensure smooth service during busy periods
•Follow health and safety procedures at all times
•Complete opening and closing duties as required
•Maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus
•Operate POS systems, tills, and card terminals (training provided)
Requirements
•Previous bar or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential
•Excellent customer service and communication skills
•Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
•Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
