The J-1 Visa Internship & Trainee Program allows international hospitality and culinary talent to gain professional experience in the United States while improving English and experiencing American culture.
J-1 Internship:For current students or recent graduates (within 12 months) in hospitality, tourism, or culinary programs.
J-1 Trainee:For young professionals with a degree + 1 year of experience, or 5 years of experience in the field.
Programs are full-time, typically 3, 6, or 12 months, and follow a structured training plan approved by a U.S. Department of State–designated J-1 Visa Sponsor.
Position OverviewGlobal Career Bridge is recruiting J-1 Interns and Trainees for partner 4- and 5-star hotels, resorts, and restaurants in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Available training areas include:
• Front Office Rotation
• Culinary Arts
• Food & Beverage Rotation
• Pastry & Bakery
• Rooms Division
• Hospitality Rotational
• Event & Banquet Operations
• Reservations & Revenue
• Housekeeping Supervisory
You will train across key operational departments, learn U.S. hospitality standards, and gain hands-on experience in one of the most competitive and international tourism markets.
Compensation and Benefits• Hourly pay: $16–$25 depending on position and property
• 3–12 months of structured training in a luxury hotel or resort
• International exposure and strong CV enhancement
• Cultural immersion in Miami, one of the world’s top tourism destinations
• Work with multicultural teams and improve English fluency
