Thanos Hotels & Resortsis seeking to recruit aBar Managerfor theAnnabelle Hotel.
Duties & Responsibilities
•Resolve customer complaints promptly
•Set objectives and targets for beverage unit/bars
•Prepare staff schedules, taking into consideration the quality of the service and maintaining labour costs
•Delegate duties and tasks to staff to meet objectives and maximize resources
•Identify training and development needs for staff
•Promote teamwork and foster a harmonious working environment
•Manage staff performance and conduct performance appraisals
•Stay updated with the international F&B trends and make appropriate suggestions to the Hotel Manager
•Supervise the preparation and presentation of beverages to meet set standards
•Implement improvements for products and service
•Comply with all Health & Safety rules and regulations
•Manage and order supplies and beverages
•Comply and communicate company policies, standards and procedures to staff and ensure that they are implemented
•Perform any other duties assigned by the Hotel Manager
Requirements:
•Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar position at a 5* Hotel
•Degree in Hospitality Management or hospitality related qualification
•Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage
•Computer Literate
•Ability to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressure
•Promotes cooperation & commitment within a team
•Inspiring and motivating others while being caring and understanding
•Excellent interpersonal skills in handling staff relations and/or guest complaints
